And it’s not just our clothes and shoe shops that are worth visiting (though if footwear is your thing, Bridlesmith Gate is a must). Jass Interiors and Atomic Interiors are great for unique home furnishings, and Delilah and Stones serve up delicious treats from across the world. If you’re into your music, Select-a-disc and Fopp are must-visits. Page 45 and Forbidden Planet are great for comic fans. The city centre is compact and easy to get around on foot, though if those shopping bags are weighing you down just hop on a tram to get across the city.
